MTV Movie Awards 2011: Robert Pattinson “Ad Libs,” Reese Witherspoon Wins Award
Somehow, Pattinson even steals Witherspoon’s show.
I was going to write about Reese Witherspoon being presented with the Generation Award, but then Pattinson dropped this bomb:
"I didn't cut you out of the movie...but I did (expletive removed) you."

Pattionson’s “ad lib” was all at once goofy, awkward, and inappropriate. It was sort of awesome, actually.
But it was sort of fun watching Witherspoon’s career highlights, which I’m fairly certain are comprised of the same coy look and kissing scene shot 4,763 times.
Plus, who doesn’t love seeing the “Reese Witherspoon girly hissy fit” being shown over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over…
Sorry, I blacked out for a second there.
I did enjoy Witherspoon’s retort to Pattinson, telling him the punch line of his joke about having a sex scene with her should have gone as follows:
“You’re the best mother (expletive removed) in Hollywood.”
Well played, Witherspoon. Well played indeed. And congratulations on the award, which of course is MTV’s way of saying, “You’re kind of old now, but just young enough to be funny about this.”
