Eva Mendes was a great choice to feature in the first few minutes of the MTV Movie Awards.

You know it's going to be a good show when Eva Mendes is featured in the first few minutes, but the opening of the 2011 MTV Movie Awards got off to an even bigger bang.

Moments after leaving Mendes' side, Sudeikis found himself bedside next to some very intense girl-on-girl action that lended itself to moments of very intense viewership.

On a mission for "Twilight" star Taylor Lautner, Sudeikis interacted with characters from some of the nominated films, issuing a back and forth conversation.

Sudeikis got a little rocky when he tried to play the Bieber card on Selena Gomez, but that moment blew over quickly when the comic realized that wasn't playing all that well.

He hasn't been afraid to stray away from the jokes about Arnold Schwarzenegger, and all of the recent news associated with him, but that isn't exactly surprising.

There are going to be a lot of peaks and valleys throughout the show, so keep it locked and we'll keep you posted just like we've promised.
