College Baseball World Series: USC vs Florida Game 2 Preview
Game 2 of the College Baseball World Series Begins at 8 PM EST on ESPN
South Carolina captured a stunning victory in 11 innings in Game One of the College Baseball World Series Finals. They survived a bases loaded and no out situation in the 10th, and then capitalized on two Florida throwing errors in the 11th to score the winning run.
South Carolina manager Ray Tanner has yet to name his starter for the game, but he will likely go with Michael Roth. If Roth does take the mound he will do so on only three days' rest. He threw 90 pitches over seven innings to help South Carolina reach the finals last Friday. Roth has gone 13-3 with a 0.98 ERA this season

The Florida Gators are going to trot out freshman Karsten Whitson to the mound with the task of extending the Gators season. Whitson was the ninth overall pick in the 2010 MLB Draft. Whitson has been dominant this season. He posted an 8-0 record in 18 starts with a 2.43 ERA and 88 strikeouts.
It will be interesting to see if Tanner does go with Roth. He is the staff's ace, and he gives them their best chance for a knockout blow. But would the Gamecocks be better served to let him get an extra day's rest and save him if a third game is needed?
