Today's focus is on the women's semifinals: the impressive Li Na and Maria Sharapova face off in one while defending champion Francesca Schiavone takes on Marion Bartoli, who of course has home advantage, in the other.

The first part of my prediction has come true - Li Na has beaten Maria Sharapova 6-4, 7-5, with Sharapova double-faulting on the last point to hand victory to her opponent. Li Na is the first Chinese woman to reach the Roland Garros final. But who will she face - Marion Bartoli or Francesca Schiavone? They're on court now.
