Wow, huge news: The Toronto Star's Doug Smith has tweeted that Jay Triano will not be the Toronto Raptors head coach anymore.

Bryan Colangelo did not pick up Triano's option as the head coach. However, Colangelo said in a press conference that Triano will be back as his personal consultant and special assistant.

This is the right move. As I said earlier, Triano isn't the ideal head coach, but still should be retained by the club.

There are plenty of solid coaches out there, and getting the right one will be the key for the Raptors.
