The New England Patriots are veering away from their personal workouts to begin a Tom Brady-led team workout in New England. The lockout bars teams from training in their own facilities, but many teams have run workouts on their own accord.
Brady joins teammates who have been training in New England all offseason, including tight end Rob Gronkowski. There are teams who have been practicing together for quite some time now, so it comes as no surprise that Brady would spearhead a team workout regiment for the Patriots to take part in.
Brady is coming off a foot surgery he had done in January. The team workouts will give us a chance to see how he is recovering from the surgery.
Meanwhile, LeBron James proved he may be overtaking Kobe Bryant as the best closer in basketball. James has been criticized for his inability to perform at the highest level with everything on the line.
His buzzer-beater three ending the third quarter propelled the Heat to a 92-84 victory in Game 1 of the NBA Finals.
