Flyers Lose Opener 4-3 to Rangers
The Rangers scored four times in the first period against Martin Biron who did not look sharp at all. He was pulled for Antero Niittymaki who stopped all the shots he faced for the remainder of the game.
The Flyers staged a comeback that fell a little short scoring 2 goals in the second and 1 in the third period. The one good thing that can be taken from this game is that no matter the score the Flyers have the potential to score goals in bunches and comeback from heavy deficits.
Mike Richards had a pretty good fight when the score was 4-0 trying to give the Flyers a jumpstart which looked like it worked to an extent.
