Watch Video of Jimmer Jam to Video Game Music

This video is so much better if you were a child of the 1980s and lived on the Nintendo. It has the feeling of a NES video game and it harkens us back to a simpler time.

The video is a highlight reel of Jimmer Fredette’s accomplishments at Brigham Young University and the presentation is great.

Using Super Mario Bros. sound bites, the videographer showcased the amazing talent of Jimmer through a fun video.

There are bonuses throughout that feature fantastic moves by Fredette on his opponents; including one of my favorites "crossover combos."

Jimmer Fredette was one of the most talented college players ever and many people don’t think his size and style can transfer to the NBA.

To that, I say watch this video. If you strip away all the fun music and the bonus levels, this video shows that this kid was one heck of a player.

Not only does the video show Fredette’s uncanny ability to hit 3-pointers all day, it shows his ability to drive the lane and make plays happen on his own. It also points out how big Jimmer came in the toughest games he ever played in.

Fredette is a good basketball player at any level and all the talent he has mixed with his work ethic will allow him to ‘continue’ onto the next level.

I think we can all agree that we need more old video based games of sports player highlights. Great stuff.
