It has recently been reported that David Beckham, hoping to stay in Fabio Capello’s England team, might be interested in a move to Europe to keep match fit.
Reports suggest that AC Milan will be putting in a bid to sign Beckham on a short-term loan in January. They hope to keep him until the new MLS season starts in the spring.
With Beckham being 33, he may never have another chance to play in Europe. If he were to sign with Milan, he would be eligible to play in Serie A and the UEFA Cup. Also, he would be able to keep his place on the England squad and be in the starting lineup, where he still hopes he has a place.
