Champions Leagues Final 2011 kicks off today between Barcelona and Manchester United.

Led by Lionel Messi and Xavi, Barca is largely considered the favorite and is vying to become one of the greatest teams in history with a win at London's Wembley Stadium.

One only need to look at their season totals of goals scored, time of possession and number of passes to understand how thoroughly dominant this team is.

But Manchester United has a true threat in striker Javier Hernandez, too. Hernandez, acquired from Guadalajara 13 months ago, wasn't expected to make a huge impact for the club behind starter Dimitar Berbatov. All he's done since is score 20 goals and overtake Berbatov for the starting spot. He'll be key in an upset.

In NFL news, people are still buzzing about Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo getting engaged to former sports reporter Candice Crawford. Romo is slated to marry Crawford on May 28 in Dallas.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones actually had to get permission from the league to attend Romo's wedding per the NFL lockout which forbids contact between players and teams.

And retired football player Tiki Barber is once again making headlines. In a recent story by L. John Wertheim of Sports Illustrated, Barber talks about his life after leaving his pregnant wife, Ginny, for 23-year-old Traci Johnson. Barber said he and Johnson hid out from the media after the story broke in Mark Lepselter's, Barber's agent, attic.

What he said next has understandably caused an uproar:

"Lep's Jewish, and it was like a reverse Anne Frank thing."

Nothing like comparing yourself to a teenage Holocaust victim to stir up the pot.

For this and a whole lot more, tune in after the (page) break.
