UFC 130 Results: Roy Nelson vs. Frank Mir, Rd. 2
Mir had trouble finding his corner after the first so keep an eye on his energy, but so far in the second, he's not showing much fatigue as he snipes away at Big Country before taking him back to the ground, which is his world.
Nelson bides his time, however, and gets back to his feet without encountering any more violence.
On the feet, though, he takes more knees from Mir before Frank drags him right back to the ground and proceeds to lie on him while isolating Big Country's right arm. Nelson keeps giving Mir his back, but Frank doesn't seem interested in holding it so we're back in the standup.
Roy eats some more knees from Mir, but lands that wild overhand right again so Frank clinches up yet again.
Now, Frank Mir does appear to be a bit while the oxymoron that is Roy Nelson is breathing hard, but not slowing down (maybe because he's not so fast to begin with). He's coming back for more as the horn terminates another 10-9 round for Frank Mir.
