Fought back against a tough South Carolina team on the road.

A good team with some obvious holes remaining from last years departures. You don't replace a top defensive coordinator overnight. Losing to a iger ranked team puts them aead of other pretenders.

LSU dominated both sides of the ball in the second half and drove down the field and scored the game winning touchdown on what is a very good South Carolina defense.

From 11 on down it becomes a jumbled mess. LSU has not done anything particularly great this year, but here is me giving them the benefit of the doubt because they are the defending champs.

Mark White No.11
Still the 2nd best team in the SEC despite the banging received from Florida. As they get more experience for their QB's, the Tigers will be the team that no one wants to play in the SEC Championship.

Ben Lee No.11
I may be overrating this team. They looked awful against Florida, and beating Auburn doesn't look so good anymore.

Let's hope they can start getting consistent play, because their inability to get the job done is getting ridiculous.

Tigers managed to get away from South Carolina without a scratch, but UGA looms in the distance this week.

(previous: 12) 5-1. Credit to the Bayou Bengals for coming out of Columbia with the win, and for putting the smackdown in the Swamp behind them. For a while there, the Ol' Ball Coach appeared to have the hoodoo on them. However, the Tigers still have something to prove before they're seen as challengers again for the SEC title. Unless they rack up a big win or two, they'll have trouble breaking into the Top Ten. But the meaty part of the season in the SEC never lacks for opportunities to rack up those big wins, and next weekend the Georgia Bulldogs come to Baton Rouge. Then, following Tulane for a palate-cleanser, the Tigers host Alabama on Nov. 8 in what is sure to be the key game for the SEC West.

They will lose one more game for sure because of their weak secondary and lack of QB production. For now though they sit at 12.

Tough win against South Carolina on the road, but it's always good to get SEC road wins.

The Tigers live large and die hard. They have been fighting up to this point, but can they recover mentally from they loss to Florida?

They had to fight to pull out of Columbia with a win, so they've got to pull it together in a hurry if they want to upset Georgia this weekend.

The Tigers can recover nicely with win versus Georgia...and maybe make some people forget about the debacle at the Swamp
