It's time for another 2011 NBA mock draft.
In a draft that will most likely see only one senior picked in the lottery, Jimmer Fredette, one may be tempted to call the proven talent of this draft class into question. One must resist that temptation.
I'm on board with the rest of NBA fandom when it comes chatting about superstar-laden draft classes a la '03, but it's pretty apparent that talent level isn't going to be available come June 23rd (I'd be very surprised if humanity ever sees another class that good). Nevertheless, there are some pretty talented players in this draft, and those who can be considered more than "prospects" are going to be a commodity.
Will teams like Minnesota, Golden State and Sacramento that continually miss the postseason fill needs or go Wall Street and recklessly prospect?
I'll fill you in on which teams can actually afford to take risks come June and which should play it safe instead of plumbing the depths hoping for a franchise talent.
