The Steelers are on a mission. They managed tough wins against the Ravens and Jaguars despite playing short-handed. They are well coached. They won big last Sunday over the Cincinnati Bengals 38-10 to improve to 5-1. The toughest part of the Steelers' schedule begins next Sunday when the host the defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants. As if the Giants match-up isn't tough enough, check out the next few games:
Oct. 26: NY Giants
Nov. 3: @ Washington Redskins
Nov. 9: Indianapolis Colts
Nov. 16: San Diego Chargers
If the Steelers win at least two games during that stretch, that would put them at 7-3 and that should be good enough for them to maintain lead their division lead. Keep in mind that the rest of the AFC North also has to play the NFC East and AFC South, thought to be the two toughest divisions in the NFL.
As for now, the easy part of the Steelers schedule is over. Let the games begin.
