NFL Players: Sexy both On and Off the Field
Jim McIsaac/Getty Images
Having discovered a relative slew of top-10 lists for sexy NFL players, I felt the need to add to the mix due to what I felt was an absence of a total person view. If we rank the top ten just based upon physical attractiveness, it would be hard to limit and easy to fill up a list of 100.
Attractiveness is not in short supply in the NFL yet character, reputation, charity and style proves much more limiting. I have selected players that exhibit sexiness both on and off the field.
I view sexiness as a total person view that includes physical traits, intellect, humor, caring, personality and the list could go on. These NFL players have looks and beyond.
10. Andy Dalton

My choice to add Andy Dalton to my Top 10 Sexy list, is based upon pure bias. As a fellow red head, I was amazed to read articles challenging his ability to play based solely on his hair color.
The articles attempted to link red heads tendency to respond differently to anesthesia as a potential for more injuries or experience of pain. Red heads comprise only 1 to 2 percent of the human population. We are original and even rumored to be going extinct.
I am giving him a break on charity work due to the fact of being a mere 23 and just starting his NFL career. Don't discount the red! Red is sexy.
9. Peyton Manning

What makes Peyton a no-brainer in this category? It's not so much about his external sexiness but for his charisma, humor, and contributions. Who doesn't enjoy watching his SNL clips, commercials and even his voice over on the animated series, "The Simpsons."
Peyton presents a genuineness and accessibility rarely seen in a top ranked QB. He comes from a football family that just itself is a franchise with his father Archie and brother Eli.
The family runs the "Manning Passing Academy", and wrote a children's book entitled "Family Huddle". Peyton started his own charity called the "Peyback Foundation" which helps disadvantaged youth in Indiana, Louisiana, and Tennessee.
Additionally he contributed an undisclosed amount of money to St. Vincents Children's Hospital that is was renamed "The Peyton Manning Childrens Hospital of St. Vincent". He exhibits sexiness with his reliability, wit, and charity.
8.Drew Brees

It's sexy when a man has good tastes and Drew's is unmatched: Purdue and the Saints!
It's always impressive when a player receives "The Walter Payton Man of the Year Award", "Sports Illustrated Sportsman of the Year" and "Offensive Player of the Year" 2008, yet let's add having 12 NFL records, 21 Saints franchise records, and a Saints Super Bowl win. Drew married his college sweetheart in 2003 and together they have two boys, Baylen and Bowen.
His foundation "The Brees Dream Foundation" helps the community in a variety of ways, plus he was appointed co-chair by President Obama to the "President Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition". One cannot avoid the heart warming moment when he raised his young son after his Super Bowl win.
Drew is a charitable person, humble, a family man and real Super Bowl sexy!
7. Jason Taylor

Many players easily receive props and awards for their on the field play, yet go unrecognized for their family commitment.
Like many of us, albeit not publicly, have challenges in our marriage and repairing it takes a lot more work than leaving. Jason prioritized his family/marriage and walked away from the $8.5 million he was scheduled to receive from the Washington Redskins when he refused to spend the offseason at the Redskins Park and instead spent his time with his family in Miami, FL.
Taylor and his wife created the "Jason Taylor Foundation-Building a Better Future" which has contributed over one million dollars to over 40 different charitable organizations. Mr. Taylor won our hearts as a dancing man, yet its his role as a family man and a community man that shows real character, that's Sexy!
6. Madieu Williams

Madieu Williams stands out for his performance locally and nationally.
Need proof? Williams received the "Vikings Community Man of the Year" and "The Walter Payton Man of the Year Award". Madieu has worked locally with the North Community YMCA, United Way, Harvest Prep Academy and provides season tickets in his "Dieu's Crew.
He created "The Madieu Williams Center for Global Health" that focuses on public health issues in both Prince George county and Sierra Leone.
Madieu funded two schools in his homeland and flew American teachers, dentist, and surgeons to help educate the teachers at his schools, give free dental cleaning, and provide free surgeries.
5. Tony Gonzalez

Tony Gonzalez was voted by "Men's Fitness Magazine" as the "Top 25 Most Fittest Men in America". A fit man is healthy and sexy.
He posed nude recently for an advertisement to say no to fur by increasing awareness of the treatment of animals used for their fur, linings and trim. He pledged never to buy or wear fur. Tony is involved in the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in both Kansas City and out in California.
He is involved in the Kidney Foundation and has his own foundation named "Shadow Buddies" which provides emotional and educational support for medically challenged children as well as support for the Boys and Girls Club. Kansas City is a great city; shopping, ribs, arts, amenities and more, Gonzalez only adds to its beauty.
4. Adrian Peterson

Adrian Peterson is game! On field, he has the third highest average yards per game total in NFL history, yet off field is where his overall accomplishments really shine.
"Emerging Hearts" award for his volunteer work with the Special Olympics, The African American Adoption Agency, Make-a-Wish Foundation, the Starkey Hearing Foundation, and his "All Day Foundation" which supports a multitude of philanthropic organizations, show Peterson's commitment to the community and others.
Adrian has shown game—on and off the field as well as a strength in character and perseverance with his challenging early experiences.
3. Myron Rolle

Myron Rolle is a rare gem: the brains, beauty and brawn. With a brief postponement into his NFL career to fulfill his studies as a Rhodes Scholar in medical anthropology at Oxford University, he plans both a football and medical career.
Even at the young age of 25, Myron has received a multitude of accolades for his scholastic, athletic and community service successes. Rolle is the founder of ""Our Way to Health", an educational childhood anti-obesity program for Native Americans.
In conjunction with the Florida Secretary of Children and Family Services, he runs a week long "Myron Rolle Wellness and Leadership Academy" for foster children in the states care.
He plans to open the "Myron L. Rolle Medical Clinic and Sports Complex" in his native town, Steventon, Exuma in the Bahamas. I look forward to seeing his successes with the Tennessee Titans and his continuance of community service and involvement. Smart, involved, prioritized equals Sexy!
2. Nnamdi Asoumugha

Nnamdi Asomugha is impressive on many fields. Fans cheer him on and charities adore him.
Among his many accomplishments on the field are his receipt of the "Whizzer" White NFL Man of the Year, selection as a member of both the Fox Sports and USA Today's All Decade Team, starter for the 2011 Pro Bowl Team and a finalist for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award.
Off field his efforts are vast with his "Asomugha Foundation", involvement in the Clinton Global Initiative University, Essence "Do Right Men" award, The Presidents Volunteer Service Award, Ambassador for the United Way of the Bay Area and the Home Depot MVP award for community service. Nnamdi's commitment to others and community service is Sexy!
My Top of the Top Ten....1. Dhani Jones
Mark Von Holden/Getty Images
Dhani which translates in Hindi as "thinking man," fits up to his name. He emphasizes the importance intelligence plays not only in the game of football but the game of life.
He utilizes his high end bow-ties for charity, participates in Public Service Announcements for the Environment and the United Nations Food Program, as well as hosting "Dhani Tackles The Globe."
He plays the saxophone and piano, loves the arts and is an all around renaissance man. He promoted TY KU alcohol drink noting its aphrodisiac properties, I cannot imagine why one would need a drink to feel frisky around this charming and handsome man.
Dhani IS the sexiest player of 2011 with his obvious looks, great play, intellect and charity. One cannot deny the Bow Tie!
