Kyle Busch Goes for Fourth Straight at Atlanta in a Truck

Horn FanSenior Writer IOctober 21, 2008

On Saturday, Kyle Busch will be trying to tie a record of winning four races in four starts at a track: the Atlanta Motor Speedway.

He'll be driving in the No. 51 Miccosukee Resorts/NOS Energy Drink Toyota Tundra truck for Billy Ballew Motorsports.

It would be the third win in a row for the team, but Busch's fourth in a row.

Busch got his first truck win at Atlanta in 2005, then the fall race in 2007 and in the spring race in 2008.

In sixteen starts there, combining all three series, he has four-wins (one is Sprint Cup), six top fives and six top tens.

At the same time, Billy Ballew Motorsports has run ten races at the track, compiling three wins, three top fives, and four top tens.

"It's a big race for Billy Ballew and it would be big to win it," Busch said. "I think we've got a good shot at it. Hopefully things go our way. Ron Hornaday has always been fast there so we know he'll be strong and the guy to beat" (truckseries.com).

A win this weekend would be exciting for Billy Ballew, since his team is based in Atlanta.
