Kim Kardashian: Was Kardashian's 20.5 Carat Ring Bad Purchase by Kris Humphries?
Kim Kardashian Set to Marry Kris Humphries
One of the most popular reality television stars around, Kim Kardashian is now officially engaged to New Jersey Nets reserve forward Kris Humphries.
In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE magazine, the couple spilled the beans that they had kept their engagement a secret for about a week.
It's reported that Humphries proposed with a 20.5 carat emerald cut diamond ring valued at about $2 million, which was custom made by Kardashian friend, Lorraine Schwartz.
But was that large purchase really a bad decision by Humphries?
Personally, this may just be me. But I'd rather do something else with that money instead of put in on my fiancee's finger.
No matter how good she looks in a bikini!
You can feed a small country with that kind of dough.
More importantly, it didn't make sense for Humphries to be spending that kind of cash when he only banked $3.2 million last season.
Someone tell Humphries there may be an NBA Lockout this offseason. He needs to be smarter with his hard earned cash.
The truth is Kim K. probably makes more money from her TV deals and endorsements and she can help support Humphries when his career as an NBA reserve ultimately ends.
Hopefully, she doesn't change his mind and leave him at the altar for former beau Reggie Bush.
