Juventus announced today, through their official website, that they have come to an agreement with Andrea Pirlo on a three year deal.  Pirlo will join Juventus on a free transfer.

Andrea Pirlo has played the last 10 years for AC Milan after coming over from Inter Milan.  Juventus' decision to sign Pirlo could affect whether or not they decide to take their option to purchase Alberto Aquilani, who has been on loan with Juventus this past season.

Juventus finished seventh in Serie A this season. Does the Pirlo signing help them or should they have looked elsewhere to strengthen their midfield?
