Philadelphia Phillies

Bullpin Breakdown

Josue VizcayContributor IOctober 20, 2008

Grant Balfour- He is a two pitch guy. Nice fast ball, but it is straight.

Below average curve. If fastball is not moving, and he is not pumped up he is

basically a gasoline can.

JP Howell- Has three average pitches. If he hits his spots he gives himself an opportunity

to get lucky.  I am always sweating when he comes in. However, he does execute the his game-plan better than anyone is the bullpen

Dan Wheeler-When he is on he is unhittable. However, that only happens 1 in every 5 outings. 2 out of the 5 outings he gets hit hard like female porn star. He has 3 to 4 above average pitches. Fastball is very average.

Trevor Miller-I would only bring him in with a 20 run lead playing Sam Houston State in

an exhibition game.

David Price-He has an A++ fastball, and a B- curve. Needs to develop a third pitch to be a starter. Price can be a pretty nasty lefty if you have never seen him before like the Phillies have not.
