The Cincinnati Reds will call up prospect Todd Frazier before tonight’s game against the Philadelphia Phillies, according to his agents over at CAA Sports.

It’s about time, as Frazier is hitting 294/.368/.581 with 11 home runs in 43 games at Triple-A Louisville. He was the Reds’ 15th-best prospect coming into the 2011 season, according to Baseball Prospectus.

With Jonny Gomes looking more and more like the fourth OF he is on a daily basis, Frazier could find himself in LF for the Reds. Frazier can also play third and first for the Reds if need be.

If you have the roster space, Frazier should see immediate playing time for the Reds.
