2011 NBA Mock Draft: Who Will the Cleveland Cavaliers Select in the 2011 NBA Draft?

Imagine if the Cavaliers traded up from No. 4 with the Timberwolves to pick back-to-back. The Cavaliers also have two picks int he second round, which means they could package a deal to possibly move up.

That would be absolutely astonishing because then they would get the top two prospects in the draft. The chance is there, so why not try to strike a deal?

In my mock draft the Cavs drafted their big man at No. 1, and here they will get their point guard in Brandon Knight. He may not be as good as Irving, but he certainly is very close.

Knight is a solid defender, which is a quality not a lot of prospects have. He excels at getting to the basket and creating his own shot. He will work well with J.J. Hickson, as well as fellow rookie Derrick Williams. The forward position will be locked with those two, and the guard spot is set with Knight.

Knight and Williams are the right moves for the Cavs to make in this draft. Drafting a foreign player would most likely be a waste. The top ones are unsure if they will join the NBA right away, and the Cavs need all the help they can get right now.

Cleveland has a chance to make a big time splash at the draft this year, but can they afford it?
