French Open TV Schedule: Roger Federer and What to Watch Friday at Roland Garros
Roger Federer, the 2009 French Open champion and longtime world No. 1 (yet current No. 3), headlines the action at Roland Garros on Friday. The Swiss master will tangle with Serb Janko Tipsarevic for the right to advance to the fourth round.
Also on the men’s side on Friday, we’ll see No. 2 Novak Djokovic aim to extend his current match win streak to 42 against 2009 U.S. Open champ Juan Martin Del Potro. Elsewhere, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga sets up against Stanislas Wawrinka, Frenchman Richard Gasquet faces Thomaz Bellucci and seventh seed David Ferrer goes up against Sergiy Stakhovsky.
Women’s top seed Caroline Wozniacki will also be on the court Friday, as she squares off against leggy Slovakian Daniela Hantuchova.
Also, defending French Open champ Francesca Schiavone plays Shuai Peng, Marion Bartoli will have the home crowd behind her against German Julia Goerges and No. 3 seed Vera Zvonareva looks to bounce back from a horrible second-round performance against Anastasia Rodionova.
