2011 Mock Draft Brings Versatile Forward To Dallas Mavericks
Like the Thunder, Dallas has the luxury of not drafting for need with its late first-round pick. Instead, they opt to pick up a forward who can do a little bit of everything.
Tobias Harris was one of the few bright spots in a disappointing season for Tennessee. He’s a 6’8” combo forward with good instincts on both ends of the floor.
Harris played just one year of college ball, and he could use more polish in pretty much every aspect of his game. On the other hand, he has no glaring weaknesses, and can guard multiple positions effectively.
Harris has a reputation as a very hard worker, and he’s still got plenty of room to develop. If he can become a more reliable outside shooter, he could become a versatile weapon off the bench for Dallas.
