Hopkins vs. Pascal Results: How Do Things Look After 8 Rounds?
As my predictions for the results of tonight's Bernard Hopkins vs. Jean Pascal rematch continue, it's time to look at rounds 7 and 8. Currently, I have projected Pascal to have a 58-55 lead on the scorecards after scoring a knockdown in round 6.
Getting off his stool for round 7, Bernard Hopkins looks absolutely pissed. Most likely because he knows he was knocked down, but the punch didn't seem to really hurt him. He comes out swinging like a wild man and lands a few good punches on Pascal who is simply overwhelmed by everything B-Hop is throwing at him.
Round 7 goes to Hopkins.
In round 8 it looks like B-Hop may have worn himself out a bit by throwing so many punches in the previous round. This allows Pascal to work off his jab and hits Hopkins with some nice punches while the 46-year-old tries to rest on the ropes.
Jean Pascal takes round 8 and currently leads my scorecard, 77-74.
