WR (SF) - Five receptions for 86 yards and a touchdown. Many poeple—including myself—were pretty high on this rookie before the season, when he posted good numbers during the preseason. He hasn’t done much until this week but watch him. Maybe he is getting the hang of the pro game.

Donnie Avery WR (STL) - With a five-for-65-yard-with-a-touchdown performance against the 'Boys, he seems to be developing a nice relationship with Bulger and the resurgent Rams offense. And the schedule only gets easier for them. Keep an eye out.

Mike Furrey WR (DET) - Six for 89 against Houston. Now that Roy Williams is gone, maybe Furrey will have more games like this—which would really only benefit you if you are in a deep PPR league and none of the players above were available.

Notable performances…

Javon Walker WR (OAK) - Five for 75 and a touchdown against the Jets. It will take more than one or two games to make me believe he has anything to offer.
