Some say it was day Arsenal lost the title: February 23rd.

Not only because their 2-2 draw with Birmingham City was a match Arsenal should haven taken but also because in-form Croatian striker Eduardo Da Silva was caught in a horrible tackle by Martin Taylor.

Eduardo suffered a broken left fibula and an open dislocation of his left ankle.

Eduardo was playing good, strong football before the horrific injury. Thanks to Robin Van Persie's previous injury, Eduardo was partnered up front with Emmanuel Adebayor and saw good first team action, scoring a nice 12 goals, one of which came in extra time against Blackburn in the League Cup's fourth round.

Eduardo is blessed with the rare talent of being calm and relaxed in front of goal; he also posses strong speed and a handy cross which is why he is such a threat all around the park.

Eduardo is expected back near Christmas and Arsenal fans will surely be given a breath of fresh air as they welcome back another young threat up front.

I believe Eduardo is the kind of player who can change the game.  Last season he showed his gamebreaking ability in Arsenal's 4-1 victory over Everton, where he scored two goals.

The sooner Eduardo returns, the better.
