NBA Playoffs 2011: Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Dallas Mavericks Game 2 Live Blog

Hey, everyone. Welcome to the Thunder vs. Mavericks Game 2 live blog.
Tonight, the Thunder will hope to even the Western Conference finals at one game apiece.
Dirk Nowitzki led the Mavericks to a Game 1 victory with a spectacular performance.
Nowitzki scored 48 points on 12-of-15 shooting, including an NBA record 24-for-24 from the free-throw line. The Thunder were completely at the big German's mercy in Game 1.
Kevin Durant had 40 points of his own, keeping the Thunder in the game. On the other hand, Russell Westbrook struggled in Game 1, shooting 3-of-15 from the field.
Both teams combined to shoot 79 free throws in Game 1. It will be interesting to see if the officials are as liberal with their whistles tonight.
Game 2 tips off at 9:00 ET.
Thunder win Game 2 106-100.
The series is now even at one game each.
Durant led the Thunder with 24 points. Harden and Maynor combined for 36 points off the bench. Nowitzki had 29 to lead the Mavs.
The series now shifts to Oklahoma City.
Game 3 will be Saturday night at 9:00 ET.
Peja misses a three that would have cut the deficit to one.

This has officially turned into the Eric Maynor and James Harden show. Harden hits another jumper to give OKC a ten point lead with three minutes remaining.
Eric Maynor coming up big for OKC as well as Harden. Maynor has 13 tonight, after a goose egg in Game 1.
Nowitzki has ten points in the quarter.
Thunder lead 95-90 with six minutes left.
Getting the split in Dallas would do wonders for the young Thunder psyche.
J.J. Barea answers right back with a three of his own. What a game.
Harden drains another three, gives OKC a four point lead, 91-87.
Harden goes right at Nowitzki, gets the hoop and the foul. Harden has been huge for OKC tonight.

Nowitzki and Durant exchanging hoops. This is what the playoffs are all about.
Nowitzki just scored his first hoop of the second half.
Harden hits a three to open the fourth quarter. 80-76 OKC.
End of the third quarter. Thunder leading 77-76.
Durant has 20 to lead the Thunder, and Tyson Chandler has 15 to lead the Mavs.
Should be a great finish.
James Harden hits a three and is fouled by Jason terry. He completes the four point play to give OKC the lead.
Marion scores a deuce to give Dallas the lead, 74-73.
