Manchester United Striker Wayne Rooney Wants to Beat-Up Fan After Twitter Meltdown
Twitter is raw and uncensored and anytime you go off the deep end all, of your followers are...following your every move.
Wayne Rooney showed the world his enormous sized ego after getting into a Twitter war with a fan. He tweeted these gems to thee handle sam_oldham_LFC:
I'll put u asleep within 10 seconds u little girl
you know where I train every day kid come and do it good luck

Right away he issued an apology according to CNN:
He was quoted by the UK Press Association as saying: "As is made clear in the tweets, this whole exchange is banter. There is no suggestion, nor is there any intention of a suggestion, of a real fight."
He is just the latest athlete to get in trouble on Twitter. They forget the old adage that if you can't say it to the press you can't say it on Twitter.
Imagine if Rooney was talking to a reporter when he should "I'll put you to sleep in 10 seconds."
When will prominent figures learn that tweeting words like that to your 500,000 plus followers is not a good idea?
