MEAC Baseball Tournament: Live Blog

The college baseball post season is underway as the MEAC is having its baseball tournament in sunny Daytona Beach, FL.

An automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament is on the line as the winner of the tournament will advance to the Big dance. Bethune Cookman has won this tournament five straight times and is again the favorite to win it all this year.

The Wildcats went 18-0 in the regular season in MEAC games. On Wednesday they continued to dominate with an 18-5 win over arch rival FAMU.

Catcher Peter O'Brien and DH Ryan Durrence drove in five runs apiece in the Cats' rout. IF BCU wins it will be the fifth year in a row. They have still yet to advance from the Regionals in ten trips of the last eleven years. This year the Cats are confident they can make it to the Super Regionals.
