NBA Draft Lottery 2011: Will the Minnesota T-Wolves Screw Up Their Pick Again?
The 2011 NBA Draft Lottery will solidify the final draft order for the league. The bounce of the ping pong determine whether your team gets a sure thing or will have to roll the dice on someone less certain in this NBA Draft. Will they trade up, down, or take their chances where they're at? Bleacher Report gives you the latest scoop on all things draft-related, reactions from around the league, and speculation on what things mean for your team.
In 2009, David Kahn took three point guards (and traded one) in a baffling NBA draft. Then he went ahead and took Darko in 2010. It’s been a strange ride in Minnesota over the last couple years, but Kahn has a chance to redeem himself with a home run this season.
But can he hit it out of the park? Perhaps. But with enough uncertainty around this year’s top talent, it’s just as likely that he’ll land a dud. Fortunately for Kahn, he has a fair amount of flexibility in his pick (there are no really strong convictions about who Minnesota has to take), so he’s probably immune from criticism in the immediate future. It isn’t until the 2011 selections pan out that we’ll see for sure if Minnesota messed up again.
