2011 NBA Draft Lottery: Kenneth Faried Is One of the Most NBA-Ready Prospects.
(The 2011 NBA Draft Order was decided tonight when the friendly ping pong balls dropped for the worst 14 teams in the league in the annual NBA Draft Lottery. The Minnesota Timberwolves, who had the worst record in the league last season and had the best chance of getting the first pick, were denied. Instead, the Cleveland Cavaliers won the No. 1 pick. Stay with Bleacher Report as we track the latest news, reaction and speculation for the NBA Draft, which will be held next month.)
Kenneth Faried of Morehead State is one of the best forwards available in the draft, and is one of the most NBA-ready players in this draft class.
He has great strength and is a good post defender. He can play both forward positions as well.
Faried does not have an amazing offensive post game, but he can score with some effective post moves and using his great athleticism.
He is a player that can greatly improve his draft stock in the NBA Combine and private workout because he did not play against top competition at Morehead State.
Faried is a great talent, and if he had played for a national title contender this season he would be an automatic top three pick.
