NBA Draft Order 2011: Why the No. 1 Pick Will Disappoint
NBA Draft Order 2011 will feature underwhelming prospects
Rarely does first place feel deflating, but in the 2011 NBA draft, there is certainly reason for the top team to feel as if their victory is more of a consolation prize.
True, there is an array of quality picks in this draft, but there is a difference between quality and the No. 1 pick. The top prospect is supposed to be that transcendent player. Derrick Rose, LeBron James, Tim Duncan. Those are the players that go first.
The Cavaliers will get the top spot, but no player they take, unless looks are incredibly deceiving, will live up to the hype of a No. 1 pick. Luckily for the Cavs they have got something two of the top four spots.
Bu if they are looking for a franchise player they must look elsewhere. It doesn’t exist in this draft.
