WWE News: Bragging Rights Pay-Per-View Renamed as WWE Uprising

Hey Bleacholics,

WWE pay-per-view, Bragging Rights, which contests what WWE brand is the superior brand, is no longer happening.

WWE Ring announcer Justin Roberts announced at RAW in the Texas AT&T Center during a commercial break that WWE Uprising would be taken place at the venue on October 23, 2011.

The event, which was originally slated for the date at the AT&T Center, was WWE Bragging Rights so it seems that WWE has scrapped yet another pay-per-view this year.

The first was WWE Fatal Four Way, which was going to be held on June 19, 2011 at the Verison Center in Washington DC, which was later renamed as Capitol Punishment.

WWE seems to be moving slowly away from the gimmick pay-per-views. What do you think about this?

Do you prefer WWE Uprising than WWE Bragging Rights?

Do you think any other WWE pay-per-views will be renamed before the year is done?
