2011 NBA Mock Draft: Cleveland Cavaliers Select Derrick Williams at No. 2
The Cavaliers was everybody’s second favorite team last season after LeBron James spurned them for Miami during the offseason.
Unfortunately, the Cavs finished with a 19-63 record, last in the Eastern Conference.
Cleveland has two selections in the first eight picks in the draft and will look to rebuild.
With the number two pick, the Cavs would take Arizona forward Derrick Williams.
Williams was a star for the Wildcats during the NCAA Tournament, leading them to the Elite Eight. Not only is he good offensively, averaging 19.5 points per game, but he showed in the tournament he can be a presence on defense as well.
Williams will instantly come in and bring some excitement back to Quicken Loans Arena.
