It may seem like we are running out of things to talk about in the NFL world while the league is limbo, and to some extent that may be true, but the players are still living their lives and making headlines along the way.

Even the Chad Ochocinco haters have now heard that the excitable wide receiver rode a bull on Saturday night at a PBR event and continues to have fun and work out during his time off.

Love him or hate him, at least Chad has found a way to stay in the news with positive, albeit crazy activities outside of football.

Cam Newton, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2011 NFL draft, has been linked to a few former quarterbacks with knowledge of his team and system.

While Brett Favre is easily the most exciting name, he is unlikely help, but Ken Dorsey and Chris Weinke have already made their presence felt.

Then there is the Oakland Raiders, a team that stands to lose the best player in the free-agent class whenever the league years opens, but could actually be better overall next season.

Obviously Nnamdi Asomugha would help that, but he's ready to cash in big time with a number of teams vying for his services.

The NFL might not be in session right now, but there is still plenty to talk about.
