The Ravens Best Lose in Regulation

skins_cheerleader.jpgIf you don’t live in the D.C. area, go ahead and leave the room now. Same goes for those of you with Sunday Ticket and anyone here who isn’t a Skins fan.

Alright, now that I’m speaking to just the D.C.-dwelling Skins fans, let me tell you some bad news: You’re about to get screwed by the NFL on Sunday. Well, hypothetically speaking. And metaphorically — no one is actually going to screw you, virgin.

On Sunday, October19th, WUSA-9 will air the Ravens and Dolphins game at 1:00PM, followed by the Redskins and Browns at 4:15pm.

At this time, the NFL is blocking WUSA from showing the beginning of the Redskins game until the Ravens and Dolphins are completely finished or the outcome appears certain.

Under those conditions, if the Ravens game goes past 4:15pm, you will miss the kickoff of the Redskins game.

Seeing as the Ravens and Dolphins both equally suck, it’s entirely possible their game could end up in overtime, tied at 6-6. If that happens, please feel free to call Jamie or I and we will give you the play-by-play from the comfort of our Carolinian living rooms. In the meantime, redirect your anger at that Redskins cheerleader, who clearly doesn’t know when Labor Day is. See, you aren’t even thinking about possibly missing kickoff anymore.
