I am sure by now everyone who pays attention to baseball knows that the ace from San Diego, Jake Peavy, has been placed on the trading block. You may also have heard that Atlanta has been heavy on acquiring Peavy.
Peavy has said that he wants to go to a playoff-contended team. Peavy also has a full no-trade clause and has to approve any trade first.
Jake has mentioned some teams he would like to be traded to: St. Louis, Houston, LA Dodgers, Atlanta, and Chicago. Obviously, Peavy would prefer to stay in the NL. However, Peavy's agent has hinted that he may accept a trade to New York.
The Yankees, as any fan would know, need pitching badly. Peavy has been a topic in Yankee meetings.
So that brings every Yankee fan to wonder, who would they trade to get him?
The one person that I think would be in that trade if it happens would be Robinson Cano. It would definitely take more than that to reel him in.
So all you Yankee fans out there, what do you think would be a good trade to get the Padres' ace?
