Aaron Douglas' Social Media Updates Could Provide a Timeline
Aaron Douglas Possible Timeline:
With the details of Aaron Douglas’ death still very sketchy it leaves many people wondering what exactly happened to the young and talented lineman from Alabama.
It is important to remember that what really matters here is that the focus should stay on the loss of such a young man with such great potential, but the questions are going to exist none the less.
I am working to try to find some solidified details on the case, but for until there is a released police report or an official press statement there is very little we can do but speculate.
Brian McAlister of al.com, an Alabama website, compiled some information regarding an informal timeline of Douglas’ activities on social media before his death.
Douglas indicated through his Facebook page he was in Jacksonville, Fla., on Tuesday night asking friends in the area to "hit me up."
Later that night on Twitter, Douglas wrote about meeting a "accomplished 12 purple hearts" in Viet Nam.
On Wednesday night, Douglas sent a Twitter message about the Miami Heat's performance against the Boston Celtics. Late Wednesday night, he wrote, "Bout to kick it with my new friends Emily!!"
His final message: "Who's still up right now?!?"
As speculation of his death spread late Thursday morning, some of his Facebook followers began posting messages of rest in peace.
Kara Fasano wrote, "RIP I will miss you and rapping with you! Love you!"
Larry Sturgill wrote, "R.I.P. Aaron. You will be dearly missed."
Alabama wide receiver Nick Williams wrote on Twitter, "RIP Aaron Douglas im shocked bro, we will miss you a lot. We are praying for your family, you would've done great things in your life."
Alabama offensive lineman Austin Sheppard wrote, "RIP AD ill miss you man i enjoyed being around you man i cant believe your gone."
Former Alabama quarterback Greg McElroy wrote, "RIP Aaron Douglas. Enjoyed what little time I spent with you and I know you will be watching over us."
I will keep you informed on more information regarding this situation as it becomes available to me.
