NBA Power Rankings: The Hottest Cheerleader from Every Team

0 of 30

Basketball games can often become tedious, with the consistent swishing of both baskets and the mundane bouncing of a round ball.

Cheerleaders and dance squads perform during breaks in the game to offer a relief from the menial significance of anything before the last two minutes of the fourth quarter.

Female fans may roll their eyes at the sight of these girls, but men relish the moment.

The team's reputation has no effect on the quality of these dancers, and it often helps the fans who watch mediocre teams the most.

Here are the hottest cheer girls from every NBA team.

    Enjoy.

30. Chicago Bulls

1 of 30

Carlos Boozer's poor performance in the playoffs is now understandable.

It's hard to focus when this cheerleader gingerly floats across the court.

Oh yeah, that's why they get paid millions of dollars.

    Doesn't seem to help.

29. Cleveland Cavaliers

2 of 30

This was the omnipresent reaction to LeBron's epic decision. The only difference is that most fans don't look as good in a bathing suit as this cheerleader does.

She'll continue to support and cheer for the Cavaliers, but she won't be happy about it.

28. Detroit Pistons

3 of 30

After winning only 30 games this year, the Pistons are looking for new personnel.

But not in the cheering squad, as they clearly keep the fans content.

The fight between Ron Artest and that fan probably occurred as a result of their collective interest in this cheerleader.

    Very likely.

27. Los Angeles Lakers

4 of 30

Since getting swept by the Mavericks, Kobe's team is shaking their heads...

...to the beat of the cheerleading-practice theme music.

Finally refreshing to see new teams in the Western Conference Finals.

26. Memphis Grizzlies

5 of 30

The hungry Grizzlies are making plenty of noise during these playoffs, and are now in a tight matchup with the Thunder.

O.J. Mayo and Rudy Gay present a positive future, but Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol headline the current hot streak.

The cheerleaders are naturally excited to see their team make the Western Conference Finals for the first time in their history.

25. Minnesota Timberwolves

6 of 30

The Timberwolves need to do everything in their power to keep Kevin Love happy.

Setting him on a date with one of their cheerleaders might keep him around for the meantime.

The future looks bright in the paint with Michael Beasley and Kevin Love bumping shoulders down low.

24. Philadelphia 76ers

7 of 30

After Lou Williams hit a ridiculous three-point shot against the Heat in the first round, the 76ers still lost.

But at least their loyal cheerleaders were waiting at home to welcome them back.

Valiant effort guys, we were rooting for you.

23. Indiana Pacers

8 of 30

The Pacers are over their loss to the Bulls, because they realize that watching cheerleaders is more exhilarating than playoff basketball.

Maybe they're crazy, or maybe they are brilliant.

22. Denver Nuggets

9 of 30

While she may appear to be picking her nose, this cheerleader is actually quieting the crowd.

The Nuggets are still mourning from their matchup with the Thunder.

One or two more superstar scorers, and they could compete for a ring.

21. New Orleans Hornets

10 of 30

Her awkward smile represents the walk of shame.

After exiting the team bus, the cheerleader receives some cat calls and a few chuckles and walks home.

    Just preparing for the game.

20. Los Angeles Clippers

11 of 30

Blake Griffin's ferocious dunks make his fans roar and his cheerleaders erupt.

The Clippers have a lot to look forward to with the NBA Rookie of the Year leading their squad and Eric Gordon draining threes.

Their cheerleaders got them through the rough times of the past decade.

19. Oklahoma City Thunder

12 of 30

The Thunder may be the most explosive team in the NBA, and they are followed by an elite cheer crew.

Tied with the Grizzlies in the second round of the playoffs, Kevin Durant and company may be finding their groove on the way to a title.

It's the size of the fight in the dog.

    And the mid-range talent.

18. Golden State Warriors

13 of 30

After going 36-46, the Warriors need to re-evaluate the roster.

Clearly David Lee wasn't the answer they were looking for, and Monta Ellis needs to give up the rock once in awhile.

Look for them to rebuild through the draft as they have in the past, and make a couple blockbuster deals to change things up.

These girls will be asked to hold more responsibilities on the court.

17. Phoenix Suns

14 of 30

Steve Nash might be getting too old for this. Not for this, but rather for basketball.

While he is still an elite point guard, his career is beginning to decline.

Keep your eyes on the cheerleader, Steve.

16. Milwaukee Bucks

15 of 30

The Bucks have a remarkable point guard who can't stay healthy, but they appear ready to take a step in the right direction.

If they can get Jennings some help and keep him focused on the game and not the cheerleaders, then they will be ready to move on.

In the meantime, these girls will suffice.

15. Sacramento Kings

16 of 30

Tyreke Evans is the real deal, and so is the cheerleading squad.

This is how the Kings keeps the fans happy and in the seats.

Could the Kings select Kentucky guard Brandon Knight with the fifth overall pick in the draft?

14. San Antonio Spurs

17 of 30

The wrinkles on Tim Duncan's face aren't from the strains of the NBA, but rather the stress he gets from staring at these cheerleaders.

We will avoid a Tony Parker joke, although it is tempting.

The Spurs need an infusion of youth this offseason because their slow and lethargic style of play is dying out.

13. Toronto Raptors

18 of 30

After going 22-60 this past season, the Raptors will look for help in the draft.

With the third pick in the draft, the Raptors select Carmen Electra to join this already-superb cheering squad.

If Kyrie Irving drops to them, they might have to change their thinking.

12. Utah Jazz

19 of 30

The Jazz were sad with the departure of their star point guard, Deron Williams.

But it's alright, these girls will calm the players down and keep them focused on the prize.

Derrick Favors brings some promise, but Al Jefferson must be quietly angry with his current situation.

11. New York Knicks

20 of 30

Despite getting swept by the Celtics, the Knicks and their fans are optimistic about the future.

As long as they retain their dancing squad, sign a defensive-minded coach and pick up a defensive center, the Knicks are on their way to competing for the Finals.

That's assuming James Dolan doesn't screw it up.

10. Orlando Magic

21 of 30

The Magic saw themselves exit the playoffs early, but there is hope.

That's only if Dwight Howard sticks around, which seems less likely by the day.

At least the cheerleaders will always be there.

9. New Jersey Nets

22 of 30

It was curious as to why Deron Williams allegedly wanted to stay in New Jersey and not test free agency.

While that could be a rumor, it would be understandable, considering the plethora of sexy cheerleaders rooting him on.

    He feels right at home.

8. Washington Wizards

23 of 30

John Wall is clearly ready to take the Wizards to the next level and help them move on from the Gilbert Arenas era, but he'll need help.

His cheerleaders will root hard and often as they wait for the fourth pick in the draft, which is held by Washington.

They need a 7'0" power forward from Lithuania.

With the pick, the Wizards select Donatas Motiejunas.

7. Atlanta Hawks

24 of 30

They may be down 2-3 in the series against the fiery Bulls, but the Hawks have a stellar cheerleading squad ready to motivate a playoff run.

Lindsay is no different, as she could easily distract superstar Derrick Rose.

Someone get her a plain ticket please.

6. Houston Rockets

25 of 30

They missed the playoffs by three games, but that gives them more time to watch the cheerleaders practice.

While Kevin Martin is a prolific scorer, Yao Ming needs to stay healthy (if he even lasts).

With the healthy center, they have a guaranteed playoff spot since their cheerleaders are clearly already elite.

5. Charlotte Bobcats

26 of 30

Whether a team's cheerleaders look like this or not, there is clearly a problem when Stephen Jackson is the best player on the court.

Despite scoring 18.5 points per game this season, Jackson is no savior.

Can Kemba Walker join this squad and breathe some life back into Charlotte?

    Anything's possible.

4. Portland Trailblazers

27 of 30

An exciting team, the Trailblazers are ready to compete for the West title every season.

If Greg Oden can ever return and stay on the court, they might be in for an amazing surprise.

However, he might enjoy watching these girls from the bench instead.

    Hopefully not.

3. Boston Celtics

28 of 30

They are down 3-1 to the mischievous Heat and analysts are counting them out.

Fans don't want to see the Heat advance, but, at the same time, despise the arrogant air about the Celtics.

It's an interesting dichotomy, but in the end, most fans quietly hope that the Celtics come back against the Heat.

The Heat must overcome a sexy cheering section on the Boston sideline.

2. Miami Heat

29 of 30

It does make sense that the Heat would have the hottest dancers.

The team got off to a slow start this season due to the distracting circumstances, but now they lead the Celtics 3-1 in the second round of the playoffs.

Few are rooting for the Heat, but most love their dancers.

1. Dallas Mavericks

30 of 30

The Mavericks aren't sure whether to be psyched about their sweep of the two-time defending champion Lakers or excited considering they get to watch these cheerleaders dance 41 times a season.

If they were dressed like this on the court it would be hard to hold the ball.

Like their cheerleaders, the Mavs are hot and ready to battle for the Finals.

    Good luck.
