Congo Native Bismack Biyombo Is Sure To Surprise Many In Detroit In 2011

A downright gritty player on the court, I don’t think many NBA fans truly understand the force known as Bismack Biyombo out of Congo.

Projected to go to the Detroit Pistons at No. 7, Biyombo will undoubtedly be a star at the next level as he uses his chiseled, 243-pound frame to let his presence be known in the paint.

Biyombo, standing at 6’8”, has a remarkable 7’7” wingspan and uses his frame to display his incredible emotions on the court. Think of guys like Joakim Noah and Kevin Garnett and then you can truly understand the emotion this kid from the Congo brings.

Away from the ball, Biyombo displays a remarkable ability to get open and receive the pass, which then amounts to his dominance in the paint.

Biyombo crushes the rim at any opportunity he gets and will be a force for years to come; something Detroit fans should be salivating over.
