2011 NBA Mock Draft: Golden State Warriors Select Terrence Jones, SF, at No. 11
Kentucky's Terrence Jones Goes To The Golden State Warriors At No. 11
As a highly skilled "tweener" lefty coming out of Kentucky, Terrence Jones should manage to fall to Golden State at No. 11.
Coming out after his freshman year, Jones is at his best in the open court where he can show off his excellent ball handling skills and even better passing abilities.
Along with his above average passing, Jones possesses the keen ability to make a home around the rim with his jump hook or creating space in the low-post.
His defense is of value because of his versatility to cover an opponent at the perimeter or in the paint and his excessive aggressiveness is an added bonus to a Warriors squad that lacked toughness at times in 2010.
Using his exceptional height at 6’8” to claim the attention of the defense, Jones averaged over 15 points per game and shot over 32% from behind the arc, gearing himself up for a nice career in the NBA.
