The 2011 NBA Draft has two gems: Derrick Williams and Kyrie Irving.

Throughout the first round, teams will have to gamble on talented players who need time to develop NBA bodies.

The 2011 class is widely considered to be weak.  A number of underclassmen are coming out to try to take advantage and improve their draft stock—in spite of the potential for an NBA lockout in the 2011-2012 season.

Kyrie Irving had injuries that prevented him from seeing the court throughout the season for Duke. However, when he was on the court, he was nothing short of sensational.

Derrick Williams led Arizona in an NCAA Tournament run with dominant performance after dominant performance.  Williams is the most versatile scorer in the draft.

Kemba Walker might be the only other "sure thing" in the first round, but he might slide more than expected.

Both Irving and Williams are special players, and both will help teams.

After they are taken, a number of international players and risky underclassmen will dominate the first round.
