San Jose Sharks Recalls Devin Setoguchi
On Friday, the San Jose Sharks recalled right winger Devin Setoguchi from their top development affiliate, the Worcester Sharks of the American Hockey League.
The rookie will join San Jose for his secont stint with the big club.
Setoguchi started his NHL career on a tear—he became the first Shark to score two goals in his NHL debut on October 29th against the Dallas Stars.
The 21-year-old scored seven goals in his first nine games.
Setoguchi recorded eight goals, two assists, was a plus-eight, and had one game-winning goal in 24 games with the Sharks before being reassigned to Worcester in late December.
In 12 games with the Worcester Sharks, the Alberta native scored a goal and had eight assists.
Setoguchi will join San Jose when they take on Detroit Red Wings at HP Pavilion Saturday night at 7:30 PM.
