In a little over a month, basketball fans from around the world we be able to enjoy the 2011 NBA draft live from the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ.
But before that, fans will be able to experience the pre-draft hype known as the 2011 NBA draft lottery selection show.
The first 14 picks of the NBA draft belong to the 14 teams that were on the outside looking in during the 2011 playoff picture, and their fates rely on a little ping-pong ball with their number on it.
While it has quickly become a common event in the NBA, the lottery selection show brings with it the beginning of the questioning regarding which team will take which player with which pick.
Big questions will surface like: Who will get the first pick?
The Minnesota Timberwolves hold the best chance of receiving the first pick with a 25 percent chance of winning the lottery, but that pick is literally up for grabs among any of the 14 teams.
Another big question: Who will go at No. 1, Kyrie Irving or Derrick Williams?
This mock draft’s aim is to dig deep and figure that out, so let’s get to business.
