2011 NBA Mock Draft: Utah Jazz Select Alec Burks, SG, at No. 12
Utah Jazz Usher In A Hefty Load Of Young Talent With Alec Burks From Colorado
Playing his ball in Colorado under head coach Tad Boyle, Buffalos’ sophomore Alec Burks could be the diamond in the rough of the 2011 NBA Draft.
Tooted for his excellent ability to finish at the rim, his great court vision and his instinctual scoring, Burks would be a nice addition to a Jazz team looking to bolster it’s youth to build for the future.
Burks is known for his aggressive play and while the Jazz have lacked an athletic scorer in previous years, excluding Deron Williams, Burks will be a nice addition to a clubhouse full of veterans like Devon Harris, Paul Milsap and Al Jefferson.
Utah has been taking massive steps in the right direction as of late and with a good draft, they could quickly become the team to beat in the West in the coming years.
