Ohio State at Michigan State
If these teams weren’t both so lame, this would be the game of the week, because this is an interesting matchup of two one-loss teams looking to move up in the polls.
Big Ten goes old school with three yards and a cloud of dust—and another low-scoring affair. Wells and Ringer combine for 60 carries.
Winner: Ohio State, 21-17
Mississippi State at Tennessee
Talk about a couple of inept offenses.
Team to make fewer mistakes wins. That means I go with the home team.
Winner: Tennessee, 17-10
LSU at South Carolina
Another upset special. South Carolina, 24-23.
See Creature vs. Creature article.
Missouri at Texas (Game of the Week and Upset Special Part Two)
Missouri didn’t look like itself last week, complete with Chase Daniel rocking the No. 25. What better way to re-energize the year than by upsetting the newly crowned number one?
Texas will have to pull out another unbelievable game for the second week in a row, against a hungry Mizzou team, no less—and I can’t see them doing that.
The Big 12 race is officially up for grabs.
Winner: Missouri, 38-34
