Pacquiao vs. Mosley Results: Frightened Mosley Continues to Fend off Pacquiao
Pacquiao vs. Mosley results have Manny going on the offensive
In the wake of nothing happening, something was becoming evident: Shane didn’t come to fight. He came not to be embarrassed. With shades of his performance against Sergio Mora, Mosley continued to hold off and hope that Manny would just give him the chance to be offensive.
However, Manny was just trying to bide his time till he could attack on Shane. Round 9 saw a little more offense early from Mosley, but not enough to make it look like he wanted to get dirty with the greatest pound-for-pound fighter in the world. Mosley knew he had to be aggressive because there was no way he was going to win this in decision.
Still, Mosley never went at it, only occasionally landing a right. Manny, knowing that fatigue was setting in for a boxer seven years his senior, began to be more aggressive, but Mosley was too smart a fighter(a testament to why he has never been knocked out) just kept him off long enough for the bell to ring and Mosley to hold on to a dubious honor that only makes him proud.
