Pacquiao vs. Mosley results have little action in Round 1

After all the pageantry at the sold out arena in the MGM Grand of Las Vegas, Nevada, there was nothing left to do but fight.

After Jamie Foxx stirred the crowd with his rendition of America The Beautiful the crowd began to chant “Manny, Manny.” Welcome to fight night.

Round 1 began with Manny took his time but struck first early. Mosley kept his jab up keeping his distance from Manny. Pacquiao spent the first round trying to size him up with neither man getting much of an offense in.

The capacity crowd roared with every near hit but Manny was unable to mount an offense. Mosley did a good job of not giving Manny anything but his speed continued to be an issue for him. He couldn’t figure out how to offset his speed. This is exactly the way many thought the fight would go early. There are both men trying to get themselves together.

Round 2 began with Mosley getting in the offensive, as Manny began working him in. It’s going to be interesting to see where it goes from here
