"We did our best," said Manny Pacquiao, who defeated Shane Mosley by unanimous decision. "I wanted to move, but my legs tightened in the late rounds."

"I have to work on my legs."

On the knockdown: "I think I got him with a lucky shot. Mosley is not slow, he's fast. He was waiting for my mistake, and he countered it."

"I think he felt my power, and I wanted to fight toe-to-toe, but this is boxing."

Shane Mosley:

"I felt I did a pretty good job," said the four-time world champion. "I wouldn't blame it on age. Manny is an exceptional fighter. Good speed and power. Power that I have never been hit with before. He's a fighter. He's a warrior."

"When you take risks, more risks, then you are susceptible to get knocked out. When he knocked me down, he kind of surprised me with his punching power."

"I fought the best, and I came up short."

Antonio Tarver:

"It looks as if he was retreating too much," said the former light-heavyweight champion. "He wasn't willing to cross that line and stay there and go toe-to-toe with Manny Pacquiao."

"That's the type of power that separates Manny Pacquiao from the other fighters out there."
