Filipino superstar and boxing's top pound-for-pound boxer Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao (53-3-2, 38 KO) defeated "Sugar" Shane Mosley (46-7-1) by a dominant unanimous decision last night for the WBO welterweight title.
The four-time world champion, Mosley, fought a competitive fight for portions of the 12-round distance, but it was far and few between what he needed to do to get a much needed victory.
With the loss, Mosley drops to 46-7-1 with a record of 0-2-1 in his last three bouts. He hasn't won a fight since January 2009 when he stopped Antonio Margarito in the 9th round to become the welterweight champion.
It's unsure if the 39-year-old is done with his 18-year career as a professional but if he is, take a short look back on his five greatest fights here.
This could be the final moment for Mosley in the ring, and although it wasn't he is best, it proves again that Mosley isn't afraid to take on the best fighters in the world. He is the only man to fight Oscar De La Hoya, Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao; three of the biggest stars the sport has ever seen.
